Future idea:
Once I get a portable video camera, I will try to interview minor league baseball players and put the interviews on the blog. Some of the top prospects in each organization come through, so its definitely something I will try to do in the next month or two.

Note: a reason that the team with the worst W-L record is not assured of the 1st draft choice is because several years ago a couple of teams were suspected of not trying to win when the season was lost - in order to get the 1st draft choice. This rather annoyed some fans since they were still paying the full price of admission, as well as people who wagered sums of money on the outcomes of the games, so a few changes were made in the lottery procedure and a weighting system was introduced.
I understand the point of creating the lottery, but it has to be a broken system when only twice in the history of the lottery has the worst team been awarded the first pick in the draft. Considering no other major sports league is that worried about tanking at the end of the season, the NBA should drop the lottery.
